We have a very popular project in Sherborne in Bloom where supporters volunteer to ‘adopt a plot’ and keep it planted and maintained throughout the seasons.

These plots might be neglected frontages, derelict land or other unloved bits of ground where guerilla gardeners can have a field day (pun intended 😉 ).

We have been truly amazed at some of the transformations that have taken place and we are very aware that pride of place has played an important role in our In Bloom environment.

This website is honoured to have twice won the coveted Barry Cruse Trophy for 'Best Website' in the South West in Bloom regional competition.

We were awarded the trophy in 2010 and 2013.

Champions 2016!

Sherborne in Bloom was awarded joint Champion of Champions at the South West in Bloom awards 2016. We were joint winners with St Just in Cornwall, scoring exactly the same marks.
